Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve had a deep love for beauty—especially the power of scent and color to express individuality. Growing up, I was the go-to person for beauty tips, DIY recipes, and product recommendations. But it wasn’t until years later, while working as a software engineer, that I realized my true passion still lived in the world of beauty.
In 2025, I decided to combine my love for creativity, cosmetics, and community by launching Scents N' Shades. I wanted to create more than just products—I wanted to offer an experience. That’s why every blush, gloss, candle, and fragrance is handmade with intention and designed to reflect your unique vibe.
I believe beauty should feel personal, fun, and approachable. Whether you’re customizing your own scent or blending your perfect shade of blush, I’m here to make sure it’s an experience you’ll never forget.
When I’m not formulating in the studio, I’m usually planning new workshop ideas, making content to educate others about beauty, or testing out fun ingredients with a coffee in hand.

Selvia brings both heart and precision to Scents N’ Shades. With years of experience as a jeweler at Kay and a deep-rooted passion for beauty, she’s the perfect blend of craftsmanship and creativity.
Her love for jewelry started early, and she’s turned it into a skillful art—helping others celebrate meaningful moments through timeless, personalized pieces. At Scents N’ Shades, Selvia manages our day-to-day operations and leads our permanent jewelry experience, where every weld is done with care and intention.
Beyond jewelry, she’s incredibly creative across many mediums—from beauty to design—and she plays a big role in shaping the aesthetic and customer experience of our boutique. Her eye for detail and warm presence help bring our vision to life and make every guest feel right at home.
